Who can apply?
The prize page lists five categories: local organizations, national organizations, Moroccan diaspora organizations, individual civil society figures, and individual civil society figures from the Moroccan diaspora.
Organizations must be legally established under the texts that apply to them and be in good standing. They must not have won in the last four years, must have no board member on the organizing or judging committees, and must show tangible contributions through an initiative completed within the last four years.
Individuals need at least 10 years of experience in civil society work and tangible contributions to the field. They must not have won before, must not sit on a committee, and can enter one category only. Self-nomination or endorsement by one or more organizations is allowed.
What do winners get?
- A certificate of appreciation.
- A commemorative shield.
- A financial award.
The prize page lists a total financial value of 540,000 MAD, with first and second place in each category, and says winners are announced at an official ceremony in the last quarter of the year. That page describes the prize in general and does not tie the amount to the 2026 edition or give a split per category, so confirm the figures with the secretariat before you plan around them.
How to apply
- Download the application form for your category from the official application page. The form must be completed in Arabic.
- Organizations attach the board minutes authorizing the submission, the bylaws, internal rules, board roster and latest general assembly minutes, a summary report of achievements and a work program.
- Individuals attach a CV with education and professional background, a technical summary of their civil society work, a copy of the national ID and a color photograph.
- Send the file to the permanent secretariat at the Nouveau Quartier Administratif, Agdal, Rabat, or deposit it at the ministry’s records office, before 30 October 2026 at 16:30.
- For questions, call 0762991344 or write to prixsocietecivile@mcrpsc.gov.ma, the contacts given in the extension announcement.
Advice from the Moroccopreneur team
- Check the four-year window first. The initiative you present and any past prize must fit the criteria, and a board member on a committee rules an organization out.
- Book your board meeting early. Organizations must include minutes authorizing the submission, and nothing else in the file can replace them.
- Budget time for the Arabic form. If your team works mostly in French or English, assign the drafting and a proofread now.
- Send early. The announcement does not say whether the date applies to posting or to receipt, so do not leave a postal submission to the last day.
FAQ
Is there a fee to apply?
The official pages list no application fee.
Can an individual apply without an organization?
Yes. Individuals can nominate themselves or be endorsed by one or more civil society organizations, and they enter one category only.
Is the 30 October deadline final?
It is the date in the ministry’s extension announcement for the 8th edition. The date was already extended once from 25 September, so check the official site before you submit.
