Marrakech Airport is one of the most beautiful airports in Morocco. Not only is the architecture stunning, but the structure itself is a bonus. The airport has a huge glass roof that forces you to look up, giving a feeling of fresh air and openness, especially in the winter when it’s cold outside.
Marrakech Airport may not have your classic runway lights or runway markings at night but beats all others in terms of its beauty.
The airport has three different buildings (on the left), each designed by a famous architect such as Zaha Hadid – one of the world’s leading female architects. You can’t appreciate this architecture without first seeing it up close and personal. And because of the glass roof, it’s impossible not to look up and enjoy these buildings’ unique shape and design (and perspective).
